This new annual school site model sees FileMaker now offering a choice of two innovative licences so that students, teachers and administrators from schools small or large can benefit equally from using this multi-award winning relational database. “Schools have told us they want three things in a software licence: the latest version including any upgrades released during the school year a simple, easily understood, total school site licence which provides coverage for all the school’s computers and thirdly a licence that is affordable and will fit within the school’s annual software budget.” “At FileMaker we like to come up with the right answers for schools,” continues Mr McManus.

“More than 100 Australian and New Zealand K-12 schools are already benefiting from the enhanced productivity and efficiency that FileMaker’s award-winning line of database software provides, but now schools of all sizes can welcome the savings and convenience that bigger institutions have enjoyed”. “In FileMaker’s eyes, all schools are equal,” reveals Steve McManus, General Manager FileMaker Asia Pacific. One former teacher says schools “can’t imagine how they ever worked without” FileMaker, and now students, teachers and administrators can have this ‘best in class’ product regardless of the school’s size or budget.
